Liquid Entertainment and Ed Del Castillo's (producer of Command & Conquer) proudly present the return of their masterpiece: Battle Realms. I hope for the best continue to move the ball forward, and know that this will get done. the last few times I gave you a date they were given to me from the people in the trenches that were supposed to know and they were wrong. I don't want to release a de-synching game. they just seems to shift around to another locations and sometimes split into two. It's like pushing air bubbles out from under a screen protector. The people involved are just having a hard time getting to done, with numerous synch issues and untraced disconnects still present.

So where are we today? The game code is comeplete and the trouble all resides in making it work with Steam. Unfortunately, my Zen Masters haven't been so zen or mastery, and that's on me. In an organization like ours, I need to be able to delegate in order to push many things foward at once. The result being that I would write something whenever enough people emailed me that they needed to know what was going on.

I trusted these communications to a few people within our group and they utterly failed to keep you all up to date. We've also suffered from poor communications with you all. I have tried to find skilled talent at every level to bring Battle Realms to life on Steam, but we've been plagued by a steady steam of newly discovered problems. As the President of Liquid Entertainment, I am unltimately responsible for everything we do so I blame no one but myself. Problem 2 is that because the code base is so old there is a shortage of talented people who can follow it.ДЇinally there has been a shortfall in communiations between the people we hired to finish the task, the people we hired to manage it, and ourselves. Problem 1 is that the code and the tools that it was written with are old. You see, Battle Realms was made a long time ago and that creates 2 problems.

I can tell you also that it seems like every day we find something new that holds the ship date. I can tell you that every day someone is working on this game.
